Dear President Kotlikoff,
I am pleased to convey the GPSA's adoption of GPSA R10: Implementing Special Grants Committee Funding Recommendations on Grants Addressing Community Building.This resolution directs the GPSA Appropriations Committee to distribute $75,431.96 across fourteen (14) organizations under the Community Building category as specified in the Special Grants Committee funding recommendations.
The GPSA Special Grants Committee received 58 proposals of which 43 were recommended for funding either in part or in full. Fourteen (14) of the recommended proposals are addressed in R10 by funding new community building events and programming.
