Dear Nicholas,
Thank you for conveying GPSA Resolution 14: Amending the GPSA Charter to Clarify and Update Elections Procedures. I appreciate the GPSA’s efforts to improve the election process.
I am returning the resolution to the Assembly for further work on charter amendments, in collaboration with Dean Love and the Office of the Assemblies, and with input from Dean Lewis regarding graduate student representation outside of the Graduate School. In reviewing the resolution, a number of other points in the charter were identified as requiring some modification. I look forward to approving a revised resolution.
