  Dear Zora, 

    

  Thank you for conveying SA R30: Resolution on the Sustainable Future of Anabel’s Grocery. I appreciate the SA’s and students’ interest in helping Anabel’s Grocery think through their financial future. Since the founding of Anabel's Grocery, Cornell has also made many strides in food security including reducing the cost of the unlimited meal plan to align with financial aid, the addition of the Meals on the Move program, support of the Swipe Out Hunger initiative (and students’ ability to donate a meal to the initiative), and our on-campus food pantry, which is open to students, staff, and faculty.  

    

  Although SCL’s relationship with the Center for Transformative Action is evolving, SCL has expressed interest in Anabel’s Grocery becoming an affiliate of Cornell United Religious Work, acknowledging the interest in this non-profit organization.
