  Thank you for sharing with me Resolution 39: Committing to Carbon Neutrality by 2035.
  
  I appreciate the Cornell community’s concern and passion for the 2035 carbon neutrality goal. This is an important university priority, and one for which we must identify a financially feasible path forward. Recently, I met with students and staff to share that I have charged the Senior Leaders Climate Action Group (SLCAG) with developing by September 1, 2016, a menu of options and related costs that will enable Cornell to achieve carbon neutrality by this date.
  
  I look forward to working together in partnership with faculty, students, and staff to address the climate crisis, and evaluating the costs associated with our goal of a carbon neutral campus by 2035.
