Dear Zora,
Thank you for conveying SA R50: Ensuring Fair Course Access for Student Athletes. We are committed to our athletes both in the classroom and on the field. The Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education and the University Registrar plan to review the course enrollment issues faced by student athletes as well as other subsets of our student population that experience scheduling challenges.
Our technical systems are not currently set up to support priority enrollment. However, this improvement project is among those that the Vice Provost and her team plan to advance as quickly as possible, hopefully late next year. I look forward to learning more from their review about opportunities to address these challenges.
