  Dear President Skorton,
  
  I would like to convey Student Assembly Resolution 57: iPhone Chargers in Libraries to you. This resolution was co-sponsored by Lindsay Wershaw, Vice President for Public Relations of the SA, and Yamini Bhandari, Vice President for Outreach of the SA.
  
  The sponsors of this resolution conducted a survey of students and worked with library staff before drafting these recommendations. The sponsors have suggested to Olin and Uris Libraries that they should begin offering iPhone chargers in the fall of 2015, and evaluate the usage of the chargers. They recommend that the libraries report this information to the Student Assembly and other libraries on campus. If these chargers are popular, perhaps other libraries will consider offering iPhone chargers, or expanding their current number of available chargers. They may also consider expanding this charger program to accommodate students with Android, or other phones.
