Many thanks to Zora and the SA for conveying Resolution 78: Recommending an Adequate Provision of Course Information to Students Prior to Course Enrollment.
I acknowledge receipt, and I appreciate the Assembly’s interest in supporting students in making informed choices around course enrollment.
Along with Lisa Nishii, Senior Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Undergraduate Education, and Rhonda Kitch, University Registrar, I agree that there is an opportunity to improve the sharing of key information about courses with students prior to registration. As we continue the university’s work to unify and simplify our systems, we will explore what compatible software might be available to offer this support consistently to students going forward.
