Dear Jim,

Thank you for writing to me. President-elect Elizabeth Garrett and the Board of Trustees’ Chair Robert Harrison and Investment Committee Chair Donald Opatrny reviewed and approved my response to UA Resolution 6 in advance of its submission to the Assembly.

I am pleased to learn that Assembly members have expressed positive interest in our providing a “green fund” option for endowment donors. While the Investment Office will lead the establishment of such a fund, I have asked Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer Joanne DeStefano to contact you when more information becomes available so that you may apprise next year’s Assembly of the fund’s development.
