What's up Cornellians, my name is Thor Waguespack and I'm a Public Policy Major in the Brooks School. I believe the Student Assembly should work for the students. I am committed to creating an accessible, transparent, and effective student government focused on tangibly improving the lives of every member of the Cornell community. I want to streamline the housing selection process, improve dining options by extending North Campus dining hall hours and adding Trillium to the meal plan, and provide free TCAT transportation for sophomores and upperclassmen.
   
Mental health resources should be visible and accessible, so I intend on working with Cornell Health to increase awareness of and access to these vital services. I intend creating mental health days during high-stress periods, and improving access to mental health professionals by establishing casual, low-barrier drop-in hours.
   
The Student Assembly should serve the students, not allow itself to be bogged down by political issues over which it has no control. I'd love to have your support, so that together, we can make the Student Assembly a productive, transformative force at Cornell that addresses genuine student needs, and strengthens our community.
