As a junior on the pre-medical track, I am excited to re-run for Women’s Issues Representative to further advocate for women’s health, safety, and support. I have already begun this work and care deeply about continuing it.
Firstly, I will prioritize advancing sexual assault prevention and response at Cornell. I organized a student focus group to provide tailored input for the Task Force on Sexual Assault and have begun working with the Associate Vice President of Public Safety to improve late-night transportation between fraternities, Collegetown, and dorms when TCAT is not running. I am also working with Sorority & Fraternity Life to strengthen anti-sexual assault trainings. I will continue this work by critically evaluating findings, addressing gaps, and pushing for stronger prevention, reporting, and survivor support systems.
Secondly, I will expand access to menstrual and reproductive products by strengthening direct collaboration with campus organizations and advocating for increased availability across campus.
Thirdly, I am committed to actively hearing from women on campus through consistent tabling and direct outreach to turn student voices into action.
Together, we can build a safer, more supportive Cornell.
