Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #30: Calling for the Disarmament of the Cornell University Police Department. This resolution contextualizes the Cornell movement for disarmament, recognizing that the institution of policing was founded in slavery and has upheld historic segregation and racism through America’s founding to the Civil Rights Era.

The Employee Assembly hosted a Staff Forum with Christine Lovely, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, April 28th, 2023 via zoom.
