    1. Call to Order
      1. E. Crawley called the meeting to order at 12:00pm
      2. Members Present: M. Benda, M. Banta, R. Boche, M. Boggs, S. Chang, C. Cornell, E. Crawley, B. Dixon,J. Doss, K. Fitch, T. Hambury, R. Howard, K. Karnuta, E. Krumm Powers, J. Kruser, S.     1. E. Crawley read the land Acknowledgement of the Gayogo̱ ho꞉nǫ (Cayuga Nation).

     

    1. Approval of the February 13, 2025 Meeting minutes

       

      1. K. Karnuta motioned to approve the meeting minutes.

         

        1. The motion passed by unanimous consent. 

     

    1. Call for late additions to the agenda

       

      1. No late additions to the agenda were made. 

     

    1. Business of the day

       

      1. Vice President for the University Relations Search Consultant

         

        1. A consulting firm spoke to the EA about the search for a new Vice President of University Relations, the took questions and suggestions.

           

      2. I. Solís Cruz informed the Assembly of the new guidelines concerning site visits by non-Cornell Law Enforcement

         

      3. George Peter Award

         

        1. R. Howard reminded the Assembly that the George Peter Award will be awarded on February 24, 2025

           

      4. Inclement Weather Policy 8.2

         

        1. S. Chang led a discussion with the Assembly on the Inclement Weather Policy.

           

      5. The Department of Education “Dear Colleague Letter”

         

        1. The Assembly had a discussion about this topic.

         

        1. M. Benda motioned to move this conversation to Executive Session.

           

        2. The motioned passed.

           

      6. The Assembly tabled the rest of the meeting for the March 5, 2025 meeting.   

     

    1. Adjournment

       

      1. R. Howard motioned to adjourn the meeting

         

      2. The motion passed by unanimous consent.

         

     

    The meeting was adjourned at 1:17pm.
