Resolution Abstract Status
SA R7 (2025-2026): Establishing the Student Employment Policy Committee This resolution establishes the Student Employment Policy Committee as a Policy Committee of the Student Assembly to regulate the terms, conditions, and privileges of employment for undergraduate student workers. Acknowledged by the President
SA R8 (2025-2026): Approving Transfer of Funds to the Executive Board This resolution transfers $5000 from the reserves to the Executive Board subaccount. Adopted by the Assembly
SA R9 (2025-2026): Ending Career Services Collaboration with ICE This resolution addresses the ongoing collaboration between Cornell Career Services and ICE. The resolution cancels any career services events with ICE and/or Customs and Border Protection. Acknowledged by the President
SA R10 (2025-2026): Condemning the Administration’s Undemocratic Review of the Student Code of Conduct and Affirming Cornell’s System of Shared Governance This resolution addresses the central administration’s betrayal of Cornell’s commitment to shared governance and condemns the exclusion of the elected Assemblies in its revision of the Student Code of Conduct (“Code”). It invokes Article 3, Section 1 of the Charter to request all information regarding the selection of the voting members of the Standing Code and Procedures Review Committee and calls for the Code to be revised by representatives of the elected Assemblies.
