  • Friday, September 22, 2023 3-4 PM via Zoom.

Deadline for Election Registration

  • Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM (EST) on-line registration form submission and completed petitions submitted to 109 Day Hall.

Mandatory Campaign Meeting

  • Thursday, September 28, 2023 7-8 PM in B75 Warren Hall. Campaigning begins immediately after this meeting.

Candidates Debate/Forum

  • Friday, September 29, 2023 3-5 PM in B75 Warren Hall.

Campaigning Concludes

  • Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

Voting Begins

Application Process:

You must do these 7 things prior to becoming a candidate:

  1. Review the details for the open seats listed above to determine the race in which you will run. 
  2. Review the Election Rules to ensure your eligibility.
  3. Complete the online registration form:
    1. Include a 1250 character Candidate Statement
    2. Attach a photo (or have one taken of you)
  4. Review petition requirements for each seat listed below and gather petition signatures *It is suggested that you gather more than the requisite number in the event that a signature is invalid.*
  5. Attend the mandatory campaign meeting on Thursday, September 28 from 7-8 PM in B75 Warren Hall.
  6. Attend at least one Student Assembly meeting held weekly on Thursdays from 4:45 pm to 6:30 pm in the Memorial Room (Willard Straight Hall) or virtually via Zoom.
  7. ​Apply for at least one Student Assembly Committee through the online committee form.
