The Employee Assembly (EA) at Cornell is committed to ensuring staff member viewpoints are a shared priority in university decision making and promoting a sense of belonging within the university community.
Faculty
The Office of the Assemblies supports the Dean of Faculty in all of its faculty-wide elections. Faculty have five voting seats on the University Assembly and serve on its committees. Constituent-Elected Trustees
Cornell is one of relatively few institutions of higher education in the nation whose campus community directly elects constituent members to the Board of Trustees, its highest governing body.
Employees
Non-faculty employees at Cornell are encouraged and invited to run and vote in two main elections: Employee Assembly (EA) elections and Constituent-Elected Trustee elections.
