SA R5 (2016-2017): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Rawlings,
I would like to report the Student Assembly's fifth resolution of the year to you. This resolution is a Charter change. I wanted to inform you that we have another Charter change that is currently being reviewed by the Student Assembly that addresses an inconsistency in the attendance policy.
Resolution 5 is “Updating the Charter.” These Charter changes attempt to remove inefficiencies in the Student Assembly process and to update our governing documents to reflect our current practices.

SA R6 (2016-2017): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Rawlings,
I would like to report the Student Assembly's sixth resolution of the year to you. I am excited to report that the Student Assembly has created an ad-hoc committee inspired by the Graduate and Professional Community Initiative to do research and planning for student priorities.

SA R7 (2016-2017): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Rawlings,
I would like to report the Student Assembly's seventh resolution of the year to you. This resolution is our first recommendation of the year.
Resolution 7 is “Reconsidering Lighting on the Slope.” After being presented with additional environmental concerns, the Student Assembly recommends that if any additional lighting is to be added on the slope that it be minimal, placed no more than a few feet from the ground, and should be warmer in color.
