Dear President Skorton, 

I would like to formally communicate Resolution 3, Approval of the Elections Committee Slate, to you. It was sponsored by our Vice President of Internal Operations, Matthew Henderson, who is charged with staffing our committees. 

This resolution allowed the SA General Body to confirm the existing membership of the committee. The Elections Committee has since been working to prepare for our upcoming Fall Election.

I appreciate the attention you gave to the Standing Rules, making sure to align them with your practice. I also applaud your work with your budget. It is impressive to see your ability to reduce the budget for the Student Assembly itself by $10,000.

I would like to report the SA's first two resolutions of the year to you. 

Resolution 1 is "Approval of the 2014 - 2015 Standing Rules." Here is the amended appendix for your reference. You may notice that there are some significant edits to the Standing Rules: this is because we added and removed language to more accurately reflect our current practices.
