Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #53: Approving Special Projects Funding Request. This resolution approves $2,500 of Special Projects funding to the Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #51: Donation of the SHAC Funds to the Cornell Student Access Fund. The purpose of this resolution is to allow for the Student Health Advisory Committee to transfer its funds to the Cornell Access Fund.

SA R50 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution $50: Establishing Automatic Professor Updates on Check-in at Cornell Health. The Student Assembly recommends that the Cornell Health and the Faculty Senate consider implementing a policy to automatically inform professors of a walk-in, visit, or appointment with the patient’s informed consent.

Employee Assembly Staff Forum: University Finance Update

Please join the Employee Assembly for a Staff Forum with Joanne DeStefano, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Paul Streeter, Vice President for Budget and Planning, and Mary Opperman, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, as they review the FY21 budget, discuss what was learned and discuss impacts to FY22.

SA R43 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey to you Student Assembly Resolution #43: Demanding Cornell Implement a University-Wide Slip Day System. This resolution calls on Administration to create an academic policy that grants each student 10 slip days to be used at their discretion in each enrolled course per semester.

This resolution passed the Assembly with a vote of 19-0-1

EA R10 (2020-2021): Accepted by the President

Dear Hei Hei,   Thank you for submitting EA R10: Revision and Renaming of The Opperman Award for my consideration. I appreciate the hard work that the Employee Assembly did to reimagine the award and rename it Award for Staff Integrity and Inclusion.   I know that Vice President Opperman supports this change, as do I.
