EA R6 (2020-2021): Acknowledged by the President

Dear Hei Hei,   Thank you for submitting EA R6: Support for Student Assembly Leadership from Racism, Threats and Harassment. I agree that racist and violent harassment has no place on our campus or in our public discourse.    As reflected in our core values, we are committed to creating a community of belonging that values the importance of free and open inquiry.

Dear Cat,   Thank you for conveying SA Resolution 14 that establishes bylaws for the Student Assembly’s newly created Office of Student Government Relations. I acknowledge receipt of this resolution and am pleased that the Student Assembly has created this office to advocate for student priorities before local, state, and federal governments. This new office will amplify student voices and help to ensure that the views of students are reflected in the laws and policies developed at all levels of government.   Sincerely, Martha E. Pollack   Martha E.
