    Dear Zora,

Thank you for conveying SA R9: Ending Career Services Collaboration with ICE.

Cornell Career Services and all college- and school-based career offices approve employers to recruit at Cornell through the Handshake platform. The vetting protocol is focused on ensuring that employers comply with state and federal hiring laws and Cornell’s Equal Employment and Education Opportunity statement, and preventing fraudulent organizations from gaining access to Cornell students. Cornell values students having the opportunity to consider a comprehensive set of possibilities for their careers after graduation, and does not screen employers on Handshake for political motivations or affiliations.

Once approved, employers may recruit at Cornell through the Handshake platform by posting jobs and internships, offering sign-ups for job fairs, and hosting events, including school-specific in-person and virtual events as well as virtual multi-school events.

    Sincerely,

    Michael Kotlikoff
