Information about the Spring 2021 Student Assembly election
Application Process:

You must do these 7 things prior to becoming a candidate:

  1. Review the details for the open seats listed below to determine the race in which you will run. 
  2. Review the Election Rules to ensure your eligibility.
  3. Complete the online registration form.
    1. Include a 1250 character Candidate Statement
    2. Attach a photo (or have one taken of you)
  4. Review petition requirements for each seat listed below and gather petition signatures (petition form instructions)
  5. Attend the mandatory campaign meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 9:00pm (EST)
  6. Attend at least one Student Assembly meeting held weekly on Thursdays from 4:45pm to 6:30pm via Zoom.
  7. ​Apply for at least one Student Assembly Committee through the online committee form
