  • Candidate Information Session #2 - September 17, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - Appel Private Meeting Room ABC (APP302ABC)
  • Deadline for Election Registration - September 19, 2019 @ 12:00pm (noon) on-line registration form and completed petitions submitted to 109 Day Hall
  • Mandatory Campaign Meeting - September 19, 2019 @ 6:30pm - Memorial Room, Willard Straight Hall
  • Campaigning Begins - September 19, 2019 @ 11:59pm
  • Candidate Forum - September 26, 2019 @ 6:45-7:45pm - Memorial Room, Willard Straight Hall
  • Online Voting Begins! October 2, 2019 @ 12:00pm (noon)
  • Online Voting Ends - October 4, 2019 @ 2:00pm 
  • Challenge Forms and Expense Reports Due - October 4, 2019 @ 4:00pm - 109 Day Hall
  • Challenge Hearings - the evening of October 4, 2019

  •  LGBTQ+ Liaison At-Large

    • Requires 150 Petition Signatures
  • College of Arts & Sciences Representative
    • One (1) position
    • Requires 100 Petition Signatures
  • Undergraduate Representative to the University Assembly
    • One (1) position
    • Requires 150 Petition Signatures 

Application Process:

You must do these 7 things prior to becoming a candidate:

  1. Review the details for the open position 
  2. Review the Election Rules to ensure your eligibility.
  3. Complete the online registration form.
    1. Include a 1250 character Candidate Statement
    2. Attach a photo (or have one taken of you in 109 Day Hall)
  4. Gather Petition Signatures (review petition requirements for each position listed above.)
  5. Attend the mandatory campaign meeting on Thursday, 9/19/2019 at 6:30pm, Memorial Room, Willard Straight Hall
  6. Attend at least one Student Assembly meeting.
  7. Apply for at least one Student Assembly Committee through the online committee form
