Resolution Abstract Status
EA R4 (2015-2016): In Support of Cornell’s Removal of the Conviction Question (“Ban the Box”) from its Job Applications Employee Assembly strongly urges Cornell University to remove the conviction question (“Ban the Box”) from its job applications, and that Cornell only inquire about applicants’ criminal histories during a background check after a conditional offer of employment is extended. EA R5 (2015-2016): Employee Assembly Seat Allocation Restructuring The main focus of the resolution is a charter change to amend our current number of seats from 19 to 28. The new seat allocations will be based on academic colleges/schools, staff units, and staff affinities. The resolution also outlines transitional items from our current assembly to the newly proposed structure. Adopted by the Assembly
