SA R81 (2025-2026): Funding of Paid Membership Organizations This resolution seeks to ensure equity in funding for organizations. Given that the SAF is funded by all students, and the exclusive nature of paid membership organizations, SAF money should not be offered to organizations that charge a fee to their membership. This resolution defines such a membership fee and institutes a new rule preventing funding from going to organizations that charge such a fee. Rejected by the Assembly
SA R84 (2025-2026): Clarifying Standards for Student Assembly Communications Materials During Election Season This resolution seeks to enact amendments to the Student Assembly Bylaws that will clarify the acceptable content of public-facing Assembly communications materials during election season to ensure integrity in our elections. SA R85 (2025-2026): Elaborating on Resolution 50: Tri-Semesterly Committee Chair and Liaison Reports This resolution builds on the amendments to the Student Assembly Bylaws proposed by Resolution 50: Elaborating on Resolution 50: Tri-Semesterly Committee Chair and Liaison Reports, in mandating those reports to be delivered directly to the wider student body in a manner as seen fit by the Vice President for Communications. SA R86 (2025-2026): Ensuring Efficiency and Accountability in the Distribution of the Student Activity Fee This resolution amends the Student Assembly Charter to remove the requirement for individual recommendations to be presented after each Finance Committee meeting, modernize archaic restrictions from the 1999 Board of Trustees, and to require public documentation of organizational finances.
