This resolution affirms the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly’s solidarity with the Cornell community and requests the appropriate considerations and additions to the Campus Code of Conduct through the University Assembly Codes and Judicial Committee.

Thank you for endorsing the resolution passed by the Employee Assembly that also was conveyed to me by the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly and the University Assembly.
Cornell’s compliance with The Americans with Disabilities Act is key to this ongoing effort. Accessible information technology, which includes web accessibility, is one of the two focus areas of the 2016-19 Strategic Access Plan led by the university’s ADA Coordinator Team.

I write to convey SA R74: Transparency in First-Year Program House Access and Placement Outcomes. This resolution requests that Housing and Residential Life, under the Department of Campus Life, provide aggregated and anonymized information on first year Program House selection criteria and placement outcomes.

SA R72 (2025-2026): Conveyed to the President
Dear President Kotlikoff,
I am pleased to convey SA R72: Alleviating Preliminary Examination Overloads. This resolution recommends that in the case that a student has three or more preliminary examinations in a 24-hour period, they shall have the ability to reschedule one of the exams. This is currently already the policy with regard to final examinations.
