President Pollack,   I am further conveying the passing of UA R6: Maintaining the University Assembly’s Jurisdiction Over the Code of Conduct (also attached). The UA voted to re-affirm its jurisdiction over the Codes and Procedures, with greater consultation with the Student Assembly (SA) and Graduate & Professional Student Assembly (GPSA).

Good morning President Pollack,   I would like to bring to your attention the passing of UA R3: Bylaw Changes to Require Recorded Voting (also attached). This resolution was drafted to add a subsection to Article II of the UA Bylaws to require recorded votes be taken for all voting members at official meetings. The method of recording is to be determined by the UA at the first organizational meeting; in the event that this does not occur, the Chair is then encouraged to propose a method.

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey Resolution 7: Urging for Graduate Teaching Assistants to Have the Right to Decide their Instruction Modality for Spring 2021.

Dear President Pollack,   It is my pleasure to convey Resolution 5: Approving the GPSA Internal Budget for the 2020-2021 Term. This budget follows several weeks of discussion on the proper  allocations for our activities in light of the ongoing pandemic. Due to the possibility of certain in-person activities in the spring, several committees have ultimately requested to retain their prior allocations, such that we may be prepared for activities depending upon the course of re-activation.
