SA R51 (2025-2026): Updating the Bylaws with a Contingency Plan for Vacancies in the Independent Offices

Whereas, the Student Assembly reclassified the Offices of Ethics and Elections as “Independent Offices” early in the fall of 2024;
Whereas, in the fall of 2024, the function of the Student Assembly was hindered when elections were delayed following an ineffective Director of Elections’ delayed resignation. This issue would have been avoided had the Student Assembly been able to call a vote of no confidence;

SA R50 (2025-2026): Tri-Semesterly Committee Chair and Liaison Reports

Whereas, the Assembly relies on standing committees and liaisons to carry out essential functions of shared governance and student representation on campus, 
Whereas, committees and liaisons often face challenges maintaining consistent progress throughout the semester without regular accountability checks, 
Whereas, establishing predetermined reporting dates at the start of each semester would provide structure and ensure all committees remain active in pursuing their goals,
