Over the years, the Faculty Senate has recommended steps to be taken in order to maintain a high-quality level of shared governance. Voting and electing faculty members to serve on the Senate-At-Large and other committees ensures faculty voices are present in the decision-making process at Cornell.

Voting for the Spring 2026 Faculty Elections will be open from April 16, 2026-April 30, 2026.

All Cornell faculty will receive a ballot from noreply@opavote.com beginning on April 16, 2026. Voting instructions and FAQs will be sent from the Office of the Assemblies (assembly@cornell.edu) prior to the beginning of voting.
