EA R10 (2019-2020): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   I am happy to convey EA R10: Recognizing Senior Leadership to you for consideration.   EA R10 states that the Employee Assembly would like to formally recognize and thank senior Cornell leadership for their response to the initial outbreak of the COVID-19 public health crisis and the corresponding impacts to the Cornell community.   I would like to thank Kris Barth and the Employee Welfare committee for their work on this resolution.

GPSA R18 (2019-2020): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   I respectfully convey Resolution 18: Postponing Spring 2020 Executive Board Elections and Extending Expiring Seats. The GPSA joins the other assemblies in postponing its elections for its executive board until the fall of 2020.

GPSA R5 (2019-2020): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   It is with great pleasure that I convey Resolution 5: Support of the Development and Implementation of a Cornell Campus Circulator System. We join the other assemblies in supporting this resolution which encourages the university to include the development of a Campus Circulator in its long-term strategic planning.   However, we also acknowledge that due to COVID-10 the priorities of the university have shifted dramatically.

GPSA R16 (2019-2020): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Pollack,   I respectfully convey Resolution 16: Demanding Cornell Fight for Fair Terms for the Remote Services its Community is Required to Use. This resolution addresses the concerns that students have in using online platforms like Zoom and CaSHNet which are services that mandate for the users to waive their right to sue in court or as part of a class action lawsuit.
