Whereas, in the weeks following the 2025 United States Presidential inauguration, several Executive Orders have been issued that adversely affect the rights and well-being of transgender and other LGBTQ+ individuals within the Cornell community. Notably: 

Whereas, GPSA’s Appendix A and Appendix B have not been updated in a wholistic and meaningful way for several years.

Whereas, a charge led by Dean Marla Love has been given to both the Undergraduate Student Assemby (SA) and GPSA to update their respective bylaws in non-fee setting years

Whereas, GPSA has neglected to fulfil said charge over the past years

Whereas, pre-enrollment is a 3-day period during which students may add, drop, or swap classes before the add/drop period. Time slot assignments are determined by class year seniority, whereby seniors register first, juniors second, sophomores third, and freshmen last. 

Whereas, pre-enrollment creates stress and anxiety for all students, especially first and second year students trying to fulfill core and major requirements.
