This resolution affirms the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly’s solidarity with the Cornell community and requests the appropriate considerations and additions to the Campus Code of Conduct through the University Assembly Codes and Judicial Committee.

Thank you for endorsing the resolution passed by the Employee Assembly that also was conveyed to me by the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly and the University Assembly.
Cornell’s compliance with The Americans with Disabilities Act is key to this ongoing effort. Accessible information technology, which includes web accessibility, is one of the two focus areas of the 2016-19 Strategic Access Plan led by the university’s ADA Coordinator Team.

Happy Inauguration Day! I would like to formally convey EA Resolution 3: In Support of the CARE Fund. This resolution was sponsored by Kevin Fitch, vice chair for operations.

Whereas, the administrative subaccount, the account currently responsible for food costs, stands at $369.67,
Whereas, food is provided at informal Student Assembly meetings, beginning right before official Student Assembly meetings,
Whereas, food shall be provided at informal meetings in accordance with the standing rules,
Whereas, Student Assembly members need to eat,
Be it therefore resolved, the Student Assembly transfers $3,000 from the Student Assembly’s initiatives subaccount to the administrative subaccount.

I am pleased to convey the GPSA's adoption of GPSA R9:Â Implementing Special Grants Committee Funding Recommendations on Grants Addressing Symposia.
This resolution directs the GPSA Appropriations Committee to distribute $60,938.30 across eight (8) organizations under the Symposia category as specified in the Special Grants Committee funding recommendations.
