What would your ideal work situation resemble, if you have the option of continuing to work remotely in some/all capacity? I would prefer to continue to work from home, traveling to campus as needed.   How would commuting or not commuting play into your ideal scenario? My commute is 30 minutes, so, not having to commute is a great benefit.

EA R1 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President

EA R7 (2019-2020): Acknowledged by the President

Dear Adam,   Thank you for your submission of EA Resolution 7: Bereavement Policy. I have consulted with Vice President Opperman regarding our current policy and your recommended changes.   You have asked for two adjustments. 
  1. to add a more inclusive definition of family to the policy by adding "surrogate" parents as immediate family members.

EA R9 (2019-2020): Acknowledged by the President

Dear Adam,   Thank you for sharing EA Resolution 9: Inclement Weather in response to the winter storm that occurred February 6-7, 2020.  Executive Vice President and CFO Joanne DeStefano and Vice President for Facilities and Campus Services Rick Burgess have done a careful review of that storm and our response to it. We agree that it is best to avoid late notice to our community when inclement weather occurs, and we strive to provide timely information and notice.

Dear Adam,   I am pleased to accept EA Resolution 10: Recognizing Senior Leadership, regarding the response to the COVID-19 public health crisis. This has been a very difficult and trying time for our entire campus community.

Staff Feedback Forums - 2020 Summer Series

As we move into a phased re-entry to campus, we recognize that it is critically important for the administration to continue dialogue with staff and gather feedback and input on matters that are central to our workplace environment.

Over the summer months, the EA will hold several focused 30 to 45-minute forums and other 60-minute open forums.   Forums are currently scheduled for the following (as planned, subject to change):
