Good evening President Pollack,
I would like to present UA Resolution 1: Bylaw Changes to the Appointment of Standing Committee Chairs and Members for your review.
This resolution’s purpose is to clarify silence in our bylaws regarding how chairs of standing committees are selected and what happens in the event of a vacancy in those positions.

SA R30 (2019-2020): Acknowledged by the President
Dear Cat,
As you know, Joe conveyed to me Student Assembly Resolution 30: Urging Cornell University to Contribute Financial Support for the Summer 2020 Student Contribution Pilot Program. While the Student Contribution Pilot Program was included in a planned package of financial aid reforms that were scheduled for presentation and review by the Board of Trustees, the pandemic emergency forced the university to shift focus toward other, more urgent financial aid priorities.
GPSA R4 (2020-2021): Conveyed to the President
Dear President Pollack,
It is my pleasure to convey to you Resolution 4: Enabling Prizes for Events to be Purchased with GPSAFC Funding. The resolution updates the GPSA Finance Commission Funding Guides to allow groups to give out prizes at Finance Commission-funded events. Gift card prizes and cash prizes are still prohibited.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have questions or concerns.
Respectfully submitted,
David Dunham
