SA R54 (2014-2015): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Skorton,

I would like to convey Resolution 54: Verifying the Fall 2015 Elections Rules to you. This resolution was sponsored by the members of the Elections Committee.

The changes to the rules, indicated in red, were very minimal because the Elections Committee believes that the major changes to the rules for next year's elections should be approved by the new Elections Committee that will begin its term in the fall.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best,

SA R46 (2014-2015): Accepted by the President

Dear Sarah,

I appreciate the formal resolution expressing opposition to the health fee. While I understand many of the concerns you have conveyed, I have tried to be very clear that the health fee will be implemented in 2015-16.

A Health Fee Advisory Committee will be created for the purposes you requested, and will continually evaluate the fee. We will work with the Student Assembly and the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly as we draft its charge and membership.

SA R46 (2014-2015): Conveyed to the President

Dear President Skorton,

I wanted to convey Resolution 46: Opposing the Health Fee to you. This resolution was sponsored by Emma Johnston (Arts and Sciences Representative), Yamini Bhandari (VP for Outreach) and Jordan Berger (Parliamentarian).

SA R53 (2014-2015): Returned by the President

Dear Sarah,

Thank you forwarding Resolution 53 in which the Student Assembly calls for the suspension of the hiring of the new Senior Associate Dean of Students.

SA R48 (2014-2015): Acknowledged by the President

Dear Sarah,

Thank you for sharing the recommendations of Resolution 48: Reaffirming the Importance of the Performing Arts at Cornell with me. In terms of academic disciplines, that decision lies with the College of Arts and Sciences, and I note you have shared a copy of the resolution directly with Dean Ritter for her consideration.
