The Student Assembly (SA) is the official governing body of undergraduate students at Cornell. 

The Student Assembly serves as the principal liaison between students and the administration while lobbying for policies and programs that better the undergraduate experience.

The Graduate and Professional Student Assembly (GPSA) seeks to advocate for its constituency, influence policies, express views of the student body to the administration and fund student organizations.
