It is my duty to convey to you U.A. Resolution 5 "Promoting Community Feedback on the Proposed College of Business."
This resolution was sponsored by our Acting CJC Chair, Undergraduate Gabriel Kaufman. It was passed by the full Assembly at our meeting of January 26, 2016 with the Assembly choosing to send copies to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the University President, the Alumni-Elected Trustees, the Community-Elected Trustees, and the Provost.

I appreciate your efforts and support your intentions, and can assure you that the Division of Student and Campus Life is committed to implementing a plan that is as practical and fair to the largest group of students as possible, as soon as it is realistic to do so.

Dear Juliana,
Thank you for sharing Resolution 24: Cost Barriers to Study Abroad.
I appreciate the Student Assembly’s efforts to make studying abroad more accessible to students, and am supportive of reducing all barriers possible to allow for more students to participate in this experience. However, due to the cost limitations of the program, I do not believe it is realistic for the Cornell International Program Tuition to be reduced at this time.

Thank you for conveying the University Assembly’s Resolution 3, “Adoption of an Inclusive Restroom, Locker Room, and Gender-Specific Facility Usage Policy.” The resolution is a welcome contribution to our ongoing efforts to provide a campus environment that is free of discrimination based on gender identity.
I especially appreciate the thoughtful work of UA member Ulysses Smith, the UA Campus Welfare Committee and Brian Patchcoski, Associate Dean of Students and LGBT Resource Center Director.
