GPSA R7 (2024-2025): Revision of Graduate and Professional Student Assembly Bylaws
Whereas, the bylaws have not been updated in a wholistic and meaningful way for several years.
Whereas, the bylaws currently reference organizational bodies and external organizations that are not in operation or have merged with others.
Whereas, there is a large amount of duplication in the current formulation of the bylaws.
SA R37 (2024-2025): Protecting Immigrant Students
Whereas, In the weeks following the 2025 United States Presidential inauguration, there have been several Executive Orders aimed to negatively impact the education of undocumented, Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA), international, refugee, and other immigrant members of the Cornell community.
SA R36 (2024-2025): Addressing Recent Extraordinary Actions of the Federal Government
Whereas, various colleges at Cornell University depend on federal funding for research funding, including, but not limited to, money distributed by the National Institute of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the Department of Education.
Whereas, the federal government primarily, but not only, through the Department of Government Efficiency, has sought to slash these funding programs and undermine important research.
SA R35 (2024-2025): Approval of the SAIFC’s Mid-Spring Recommendation
Whereas, the Student Assembly Infrastructure Fund Commission has received one complete application before their internal meeting on 2/22/2025.
Whereas, the Cornell Architecture Student Practice Club (CASP) applies for $40,000 to construct two to three Student Assembly Kiosks in 2 to 4 high-foot-traffic areas on campus.
