I am pleased to convey EA R3: Employee Assembly Condemning Hate Crime and Any Other Form of Racism, Religious or Ethnic Bias, Discrimination, Incitement to Violence to you for consideration.
EA R3 is a statement condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence targeting any person at Cornell University. This resolution follows a “zoom bombing” attack by intruders unaffiliated with Cornell during a regularly scheduled open meeting of the EA where hateful images and statements were spread.
I would like to thank members David Hiner and Hei Hei Depew for their exceptional work on this important resolution.
