Dear President Pollack,

 

I am happy to convey EA R9: Inclement Weather to you for consideration.

 

EA R9 states that the Employee Assembly asks that the university review and improve its inclement weather policy, decision-making criteria and communications protocols in response to the University’s  delayed response to the winter storm that hit Ithaca and the surrounding region on February 6-7, 2020.

 

This resolution is the result of many months of review and hard work by chief sponsor Carrie Sanzone and the listed co-sponsors who I would like to thank for their excellent work on this important issue regarding the safety and welfare of Cornell employees.
