Good morning, President Pollack,

 

It is my pleasure to convey to you Resolution 83 Disapproving of Proposed Amendments to the Student Activity Funding Commission Constitution. Per our governing documents, all byline organizations must have their governing document changes approved by the Student Assembly. SAFC has not had their governing documents approved by the Student Assembly since 2019 and drastic changes have taken place since then including some that are in direct conflict with our charter. I have CC’d Karli Buday, director of Campus Activities as well as Agnes Coleman, the new parliamentarian of the Student Assembly. I would hope that the new assembly and SAFC can work together to create a set of governing documents that are reflective of the will of both organizations.

 

Until new governing documents are approved by the student assembly, SAFC will need to operate off of the previously adopted 2019 constitution.
