It is my pleasure to convey two resolutions which were passed unanimously by the University Assembly at our meeting yesterday afternoon. While neither requires your approval, we want to keep you informed of the actions of the Assembly.
UA R6: Appointment of Judicial Codes Counselor <https://assembly.cornell.edu/resolutions/ua-r6-appointment-judicial-codes-counselor> The UA approved your appointment of Suzanna Swanson as the next Judicial Codes Counselor. We look forward to working with Suzanna in the years to come.
UA R7: Postponement of Election of the University Assembly Officers for Academic Year 2020-2021 <https://assembly.cornell.edu/resolutions/ua-r7-postponement-election-university-assembly-officers-academic-year-2020-2021> The UA voted to postpone our internal elections due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the campus community. Pilar Thompson, Jeff Pea, and I will continue as the officers of the Assembly until face-to-face elections can take place during the first regularly scheduled meeting of the 2020-2021 University Assembly.
